Geoffrey Chen is an independent researcher working at the intersection of epistemology, ontology, systems design, and artificial intelligence, with a background in software engineering. He is the creator of Sustenesis and Sustenesis Theory.

His work examines how knowledge, truth, meaning, value, consciousness, and intelligent systems can be understood not as isolated possessions of a knowing subject, but as stable coherences sustained under conditions of constraint, correction, and effective operation.
